From social media of Czech scale model company Eduard Model Accessories:
Two years ago, on February 24, 2022, the Russian Federation invaded Ukraine with invasion forces after eight years of destabilization and gradual annexation of its territory. It drove millions of people from their homes, destroyed their dwellings, and killed, tortured, or kidnapped their relatives. Russia's three-day “special military operation” enters its third year of the war by, among other things, training Ukrainian airmen and mechanics on F-16s in Denmark. We wish them every success. We wish Ukraine, its people, and its defenders every strength and endurance for victory over a ruthless medieval aggressor, which dreams of its strength and power, but in reality has a GDP only twice the size of Bavaria.
Seven years ago, the dictator Putin said that Russia has no borders. He is wrong; Russia's borders lie where it is defeated. Russia presents itself as a victorious power, but in fact, it has lost most of the wars in its history, and the big ones it has emerged victorious from have been won because it was part of a strong allied coalition. It was so during the Napoleonic Wars, and it was so during the Second World War. This is what the current Russian power elite persistently tries to deny and distort. In doing so, it lies to itself and to its people. It tries to forget that the successful Soviet defense and later victorious battles against Nazi Germany and its allies were based not only on the immeasurable sacrifices of the people of the Soviet Union, including the Ukrainians, but also on massive material aid from the Western Allies, starting with food and basic raw materials, and ending with ammunition, medicines, and military equipment.
Ukraine today needs strong, unstinting help from the democratic world because it is defending not only itself but also the democratic world against Russia. The determination of the Ukrainians and the material resources of the West will defeat Russia. It is a force that Russia cannot counter. What is needed in this fateful hour for the free world is the determination and the will to give Ukraine all the means available to win the war!
Let us remember the legacy of Ronald Reagan: the Evil Empire must be defeated!
