In the story published in the August 2024 issue of INFO
Eduard magazine about the Luftwaffe's fighter unit III./JG 1, I demonstrate the
challenges of creating and deploying a new fighter unit in Western Europe
during the battle against U.S. bombers and their escorts in 1943-1944. The
history of this unit also highlights the significant losses the Luftwaffe
suffered both before D-Day and in the months that followed.

V příběhu o stíhací jednotce Luftwaffe III./JG 1 ve cedání
magazínu INFO Eduard ze srpna 2024 ukazuji, jak obtížné bylo vytvořit a nasadit
novou stíhací jednotku v západní Evropě během boje proti americkým bombardérům
a doprovodům v letech 1943/1944. Historie této jednotky také poukazuje na
