Focke-Wulf Fw 190 D-11 is one of the rare and fascinating German
aircraft from the end of World War II. In this article from 2010, I summarized
known facts from published works by other authors. I put them in context with
interesting data about influence the Allied air and ground offensive on German aviation industry. And I also point out which of the well-known fighter pilots could
fly with some of D-11s.
